Galaxy S24 Ultra has a state-of-the-art camera system. However, some people feel Samsung is not taking full advantage of the Galaxy S24 Ultra's camera hardware. After the product was launched earlier this year, Samsung released two updates to improve the camera. The company is preparing to release another version next month.
The update is said to fix a lot of minor camera-related issues on the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra's camera will be significantly improved with the August 2024 update
According to reliable tipster @UniverseIce, Samsung will release an update to improve the Galaxy S24 Ultra's camera next month. The August 2024 update is said to optimize HDR, white balance, exposure, processing, and zoom capabilities. If all these issues are resolved, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will make many current users happy and attract more potential buyers.
The tipster also revealed that Samsung has not improved the quality of 10x zoom photos taken with the Galaxy S24 Ultra regardless of mode.
Currently, Samsung offers very good zoom capabilities up to 10x. However, the Galaxy S24 Ultra still struggles when taking zoom photos above 10x. Hopefully, the company will find a way to improve this aspect of the product in the near future.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra's camera system may be much better quality than that of the Galaxy S24 Ultra
Samsung used a brand new 50MP camera sensor for the Galaxy S24 Ultra's 5x zoom lens. Previously, the Galaxy S23 Ultra had a 10x 10MP zoom camera.
In-depth tests show that even though the new camera is only capable of 5x optical zoom, the Galaxy S24 Ultra still captures zoom as well as the Galaxy S23 Ultra, if not better.
As expected, Samsung can bring many major improvements to next year's Galaxy S25 Ultra. The product is rumored to have a 200MP main camera, 50MP ultra-wide angle, 3x 50MP telephoto, and 5x 50MP telephoto.
