Expert RAW is one of the professional photography applications that Samsung brings to its Galaxy devices. Recently, the company released an update to the app, providing a new option for ND Filters.

What is an ND filter?

ND filter is a feature used by professional photographers to reduce the amount of light entering the camera sensor, giving users the flexibility to adjust brightness as desired. It is often used in landscape and nature photography.

The Expert RAW update brings a new Auto option for ND Filters

After updating to version 3.0.05.12, the Expert RAW app will provide an Auto option for ND Filter on all three variants of the Galaxy S23 series. Previously, ND filters only had a manual option. That causes some difficulty for those new to use this feature because it can take a while to create the right filter. Therefore, the new update will be of great help to users.

You can still use the slider to manually adjust the light intensity. A small tab to the left of the ND Filter strength slider shows whether the Auto or Manual option is active.

Currently, the update is not available on the Galaxy Store. You can wait a few more days to test and download it to your device.
