The Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus are currently receiving the March 2022 security update.

Praise must be given to Samsung, as it still updates even 4 and 5 years old smartphones with the latest security patches. Specifically, the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ have started receiving the March 2022 security update. In fact, these devices are receiving the new update earlier than many other recent phones.

The latest software update for the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus codenamed G96xFXXUHFVB4, has now been released in Germany. However, users in other regions around the world will not have to wait long to be able to receive. It includes the March 2022 security patch, which fixes more than 50 vulnerabilities, along with bug fixes and stability improvements for the device.

If you are a Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus user in Germany, you can download the latest update by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
