At the Galaxy Unpacked event "Flexible Integration" that just took place in Seoul, South Korea, Samsung announced the 9th generation of the Galaxy Tab tablet line. This year's Galaxy Tab S9 Series continues to be divided into 3 versions the 8th generation, including Tab S9, Tab S9 Plus +, and the most advanced Tab S9 Ultra.

The most noticeable difference between the 3 versions is the screen size, respectively 11 inches, 12.4 inches, and 14.6 inches for the S9, S9 +, and S9 Ultra versions. It is worth mentioning that all models have 2x Dynamic AMOLED panels with a high frequency of 120Hz instead of LCD versions like the previous generation.

This is also the first time that the Galaxy Tab series has received IP68 water and dust resistance certification, making them weather-resistant for use in more environments.

Internal configuration is upgraded with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, with Tab S9 version having 8GB or 12GB RAM options, S9+ will default to 12GB and S9 Ultra will have 12GB or 16GB RAM. The battery capacity will also be proportional to the size of the device, respectively 8400mAh, 10,090mAh, and 11,200mAh.

The high-end Tab S9 Ultra version has a special screen design, with a small cutout to place 2 front cameras including 12MP wide-angle and 12MP ultra-wide cameras.

The whole body of the device is made of Reinforced Aluminum (Armor Aluminum), a material that has also been used by Samsung on its high-end smartphone lines. The back still has a concave point to place the S Pen, and this is also the new generation S Pen with IP68 water resistance. There is also a version of the S Pen for creators with a wider selection of tips, and the best support for drawing.

The rear camera system of the device includes a 13MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera similar to the S9 Plus version, the Tab S9 series will only have a 13MP wide-angle camera. In charge of sound playback is a Quad Stereo speaker system developed by AKG and supports Dolby Atmos surround sound technology.
