A few days ago, Samsung announced that it would soon release One UI 5.1.1 update for its folding screen smartphones.

Staying true to its promise, the Korean company has now released One UI 5.1.1 update for the Galaxy Z Fold4. The new update brings many new and improved multitasking features to the phone.

The One UI 5.1.1 update for the Galaxy Z Fold4 comes with firmware version F936BXXU4DWH5, which weighs around 2.76 GB and includes the August 2023 security patch. The update is currently rolling out in some Asian countries. Europe and possibly many other countries and regions around the world in the next few days.

You can check for One UI 5.1.1 update on the Z Fold4 by going to Settings > Software update and tapping Download and Install. The new update brings 4 recently used app icons on the taskbar, a two-handed drag-and-drop feature to quickly move files from one app to another, and the ability to hide apps. is opened in a pop-up window.

In addition, the One UI 5.1.1 update also shows the current state of the app (full screen, side-by-side multitasking, or pop-up) in the Recent apps (multitasking) menu. You can quickly switch between multi-window and pop-up views by dragging one of its corners.
