New evidence shows that Samsung will turn the Galaxy S24 into a true AI phone.
Samsung was recently said to have registered trademarks for a series of devices that will be launched in the future, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy S25. Notably, the company also registered two trademarks, "AI Phone" and "AI Smartphone", which are expected to be used for the upcoming Galaxy S24 series.
This information is consistent with Leaker Universe Ice's previous speculation last month. Furthermore, previous rumors also suggested that Samsung wanted to make the Galaxy S24 the smartest AI phone ever. Therefore, the Korean company can use this newly registered "AI Phone" trademark for the purpose of promoting the Galaxy S24 series.
Surely many people will wonder how "AI Phones" will be different from previous devices. Samsung has long used many AI technologies on its smartphones, from photo editing apps like Galaxy Enhance-X to algorithms that help take better moon photos on the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
Therefore, the difference may lie in the fact that the company will put AI at the heart of the Galaxy S24 with more tools to support this technology. A previous source also said that Samsung will integrate AI like ChatGPT on its next high-end phone models. In fact, the company recently introduced an innovative AI called Gauss.
Besides integrating more AI technology, the Galaxy S24 series is also said to have many changes compared to its predecessor. A few days ago, the first real images of the Galaxy S24 Ultra appeared with an almost completely flat screen. However, a SuperRoader user on Twitter said that the screen of this phone will still be slightly curved with a border curvature of 0.3-0.4mm.
The Galaxy S24 series is expected to launch on January 17, 2024, at the Unpacked event taking place in the US.
