Recent developments suggest that One UI 7.0 based on Android 15 is on the way. An earlier leak revealed the UI tweaks that Samsung is bringing with One UI 7.0. Now, a new report claims that Samsung’s One UI 7.0 Beta Program will begin on July 29.

One UI 7.0 could be one of the most interface-heavy updates to the Galaxy series in years. This is not unusual as software usually gets UI tweaks over time to provide a fresh experience to users. Many other improvements and new features could also be introduced.

The leaked UI changes have been met with mixed reviews. However, there are many aspects that could change before the stable version is released.

One UI 7.0 Beta Program to Begin This Coming Monday for Eligible Samsung Galaxy Devices

A report from Allround-PC claims that the One UI 7.0 Beta Program will begin on Monday, July 29. Typically, the US and South Korea are the first regions to be included in the program. That will be the case this time around. As usual, you’ll have to sign up via the Samsung Members app.

While the US and South Korea may get the beta first, other countries will have to wait a few more weeks. The stable version typically rolls out a few months later, starting with the top-end Galaxy devices. Samsung is one of the longest-serving software providers in the Android world, so expect more Galaxy models to receive One UI 7.0 in the coming months.

Samsung is reportedly redesigning One UI’s stock app icons, which are quite similar to iOS’s, and some users have criticized the new Gallery app icon. The company has also redesigned the Camera app to make it easier to use with one hand, and there are also changes to the status bar, including a battery indicator.
