One UI 6.1.1 for the Galaxy S24 series is rolling out to more countries starting today. On September 5, the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra became the first Samsung devices to run One UI 6.1.1, which brings many of the useful features of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 to older devices.
The update was initially limited to Samsung's home country. However, the company is now ready to make the update available to customers outside of South Korea. At the time of writing, One UI 6.1.1 has been rolled out in the US and China. Later in the day, the update will also arrive in Europe.
In the US, One UI 6.1.1 appears to be available for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra on T-Mobile. Other devices should receive the update in the coming hours.
One UI 6.1.1 is a major update that adds a few new Galaxy AI features and some non-AI improvements. To download the update, simply open the Settings app, select Software Update, and tap Download and Install. Make sure your phone has enough data bandwidth, as the One UI 6.1.1 download size is close to 3GB.
