While Samsung is hard at work on One UI 7.0, it is also working on new security updates for several Galaxy phones and tablets. Last week, it rolled out the November 2024 update for the Galaxy Tab S7 FE. Now, it's the turn of the Galaxy S24 series.

Galaxy S24 series in the US gets November 2024 security update

A new software update with baseband version S92xUSQS4AXJA is rolling out to carrier-locked variants of the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra in the US. The November 2024 security update fixes several security vulnerabilities found in the previous software version.

Samsung did not add any new features or improve the performance of the Galaxy S24 series through the latest update. If you own a Galaxy S24 series and live in the US, you can manually check right now to see if the update has landed on your device by navigating to Settings โ†’ Software update โ†’ Download and install.

Samsung will reportedly release the first beta of One UI 7.0 for the Galaxy S24 series next week. One UI 7.0 based on Android 15 features a new user interface, separate Quick Panel and Notification shade, new battery icons and animations, new animations, new widgets, and more.

Samsung says the first beta of One UI 7.0 will be released before the end of this year, while the stable version will have to wait until next year. The Galaxy S25 series could ship with One UI 7.1.
