As expected, Samsung will launch One UI 6.1.1 with the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6. The new software may be supplemented with many Galaxy AI features. Recently, information about one of the new features was revealed.
One UI 6.1.1 can enhance portrait photos with textures
According to reliable tipster @UniverseIce on X, One UI 6.1.1 will let you use AI to draw portrait photos to apply various styles. While the source doesn't go into too much detail, it appears that users can draw (with the S Pen) on portrait photos and the device will change the portrait style based on the texture.
Since this feature uses generative AI, it is likely only available on high-end Galaxy phones and tablets. Additionally, there is also a possibility that this feature is limited to products that support S Pen. However, nothing is certain at this time. There is a possibility that this feature can be experienced on devices updated to One UI 6.1.1 and supports Galaxy AI.
Normally, One UI x.x.1 versions are only released for the Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Z series. However, this year's One UI 6.1.1 is expected to add many new Galaxy AI features so it will also be released for some Galaxy S series devices. However, the update will not be called One UI 6.1.1 on the Galaxy S series but just One UI 6.1.
An earlier report claimed that One UI 6.1.1 will add a feature that will allow users to turn rough sketches into drawings in Samsung Notes. This feature will be limited to devices that support S Pen, including Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S9, and Galaxy Z Fold 5.
