Samsung has started rolling out the first software update for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 in South Korea. The company's latest foldable phones have received the August 2024 security update, which could hit other markets in the coming days.
Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 receive August 2024 security update in South Korea
According to @tarunvats33, the first software update for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 in South Korea has Baseband versions F741NKSU1AXH7 and F956NKSU1AXH7, respectively. This is a minor software update that only includes the August 2024 security patches for the latest Galaxy foldable phones.

The August 2024 security update fixes nearly 50 vulnerabilities discovered in the previous software version.
If you are in Korea and have a Galaxy Z Flip 6 or Galaxy Z Fold 6, you can check if the update has arrived on your device by navigating to Settings โ Software update โ Download and install.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 last month with One UI 6.1.1 based on Android 14. One UI 6.1.1 brings many new Galaxy AI features and a few other minor improvements. One UI 6.1.1 is not yet available for many older foldable phones and tablets. You may have to wait another month.
