Besides the Galaxy S24 just launched earlier this year, Samsung is planning to introduce a number of other high-end products before the end of 2024 such as folding phones and 10th-generation tablets. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 folding phones and Galaxy Tab S10 tablet are expected to be announced in the second half of this year. However, up to now, we have quite a lot of information about these unreleased product models.

Recently, news related to the battery models of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Tab S10+ were discovered to appear online on the BIS certification website (via 91mobiles).

Battery models may be available on Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Tab S10+
According to sources from @rquandt, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 expected to launch will have model number SM-F741, while the Galaxy Tab S10+ will have model number SM-X828. This is also reasonable because previously the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Tab S9+ had model numbers SM-F731 and SM-X810/SM-X816, respectively.

Several Samsung battery samples have appeared on the BIS certification website and it has a model number corresponding to the alleged model number of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Tab S10+. Specifically, according to the revealed information, the Galaxy Flip 6's battery will have model numbers EB-BF742ABE and EB-BF742ABY. Tab S10+ carries model numbers EB-BX828ABE and EB-BX828ABY respectively.

BIS did not disclose any further information about the technical specifications of these battery models. But a few weeks ago we learned that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is equipped with two battery packs, each with a slightly larger capacity than the dual batteries that the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is using.

As for the Galaxy Tab S10+ and two other expected tablet models, the Tab S10 and S10 Ultra, their battery capacity is still unknown. However, it won't be surprising if they are the same as last year and the Galaxy Tab S10+ has a 10,090mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
