While the next-gen flagship Exynos processors will continue to have AMD GPUs, a new leak says the Galaxy S26 series will get Samsung's own GPUs thanks to the Dream Chip in 2026.

According to @rquandt, Samsung may use its own GPU in 2026. Before that, the Exynos 2500 (S5E9955) - which could be equipped with the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra next year - will continue to be used. Using AMD GPUs.

In collaboration with AMD, Samsung created the Xclipse GPU for the Exynos 2200 and Exynos 2400. However, Samsung has been developing custom GPUs optimized specifically for high-end Galaxy devices.

The reporter said 2026 is the year Samsung's GPU will be released. It is unclear whether Samsung will continue to use the Exynos brand at that time. The success of the Exynos 2400 has motivated Samsung's System LSI department to continue research and development.

Samsung will release the Galaxy S25 series next year. They will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 or Exynos 2500 processor depending on the region. The upcoming high-end Snapdragon processor will have Oryon cores developed by Qualcomm. Meanwhile, the next high-end Exynos processor will be manufactured on the 3nm process.

As expected, Samsung will launch the Galaxy S26 series in 2026. Markets such as the United States and Canada are likely to continue to receive Snapdragon-powered variants. Meanwhile, Europe, Africa, and Asia could get variants running Samsung's Dream processor with in-house GPU.
