After the Galaxy S23 series, Samsung has also released One UI 6.1.1 for the Galaxy S23 FE. The update is currently rolling out in South Korea and may reach other countries in the coming days. The update brings a few improvements and new features to Galaxy AI and native apps.

Galaxy S23 FE in South Korea receives One UI 6.1.1 update

Samsung has unexpectedly released One UI 6.1.1 for the Galaxy S23 FE in South Korea. The update has firmware version S711NKSU3BXH7 and a download size of over 2.34GB. The update also includes the September 2024 security patches, which fix dozens of security vulnerabilities found in the previous software version.

If you live in Korea and own a Galaxy S23 FE, you can check if the update has arrived on your device by navigating to Settings โ†’ Software update โ†’ Download and install.

With this update, Samsung adds more Galaxy AI features to the Galaxy S23 FE, including Compose Tool, voice memo translation in Samsung Notes, conversation mode for Interpreter, Live Call Translation for some third-party apps, Live PDF Translation, AI Studio Portrait, and Smart Sketch.

Samsung also improved native apps with One UI 6.1.1. You can now copy and move files faster and easier in the My Files app. You can also add shortcuts on the Home screen to important files using the My Files app and drag and drop gestures.
