“Galaxy Log” feature is enabled by default on Samsung Galaxy S25

With the launch of the Galaxy S25 series, Samsung introduced a new feature called Galaxy Log, which brings a big step forward in video editing and HDR optimization, with the format enabled by default.

Samsung has long been improving the video recording capabilities of Galaxy devices, aiming to attract content creators. Galaxy Log is the latest effort, providing a video recording format similar to LOG – a familiar standard in the field of professional videography.

The LOG format is known for its ability to record without applying too much processing, providing maximum flexibility for color correction in post-production. Compared to conventional video, LOG allows for more detail in the highlights and shadows and is easy to preview on external devices. The result is a video with low saturation, suitable as a basis for complex color correction requirements.

With Galaxy Log, Samsung is not only providing more powerful tools for creators but also laying the foundation for the Galaxy S25 series to be the top choice for content production. This feature, along with other enhancements such as virtual aperture and portrait studio, provides a more comprehensive shooting experience.

In addition, HDR is enabled by default on the Galaxy S25, ensuring the best quality videos right from the start. This is especially useful for professional content creators, saving time while still achieving optimal results.
