Samsung has released a new software update for the Galaxy A35. However, it is not the October 2024 security update as many were expecting.

Instead, it is the September 2024 security update. This time, it seems that Samsung has been very slow in bringing security updates to its mid-range Galaxy phones.

Galaxy A35 gets September 2024 security update

A new software update is rolling out for the Galaxy A35 with baseband version A356BXXS3AXI3 and brings the September 2024 security patch. Dozens of security vulnerabilities have been discovered and patched. There are no new features and no performance improvements.

The update is now available for download in European countries, including Austria, Croatia, France, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland, Serbia, the Czech Republic, and the UK. Other European countries will also receive the update soon. Additionally, the update will also be released in other places, including Asia, Africa, Australia, and the US.

If you live in any of the countries mentioned above and own a Galaxy A35, you can check if the update has arrived on your device by opening the Settings app, scrolling down to Software Update, and tapping Download and Install.
