If you’re waiting for the One UI 7.0 Beta update for your Samsung phone, you might have to wait a little longer. The latest leak suggests that the One UI 7.0 beta program won’t be rolling out anytime soon.

According to Samsung leakster @UniverseIce, the South Korean company “has no plans to release the One UI 7.0 Beta update anytime soon.” That means it’s almost certain that the One UI 7.0 Beta update won’t be released this August.

Previous reports suggested that Samsung was planning to release the One UI 7.0 Beta in mid-August, but the update doesn’t seem ready for public release just yet. One UI 7 is rumored to have many changes in design and interface compared to previous versions, so Samsung may still need more time to fix bugs and optimize One UI 7.

Meanwhile, a source from Sammobile said that Samsung may have postponed the release of One UI 7.0 Beta to focus on deploying the One UI 6.1.1 update to more devices. One UI 6.1.1 was launched with the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 at the Unpacked event in early July. Although it is only the x.1.1 update, this time it may be released for older Galaxy Fold models, Galaxy tablets, and even some high-end Galaxy S phones.

The One UI 6.1.1 update will bring many new Galaxy AI features (AI painting, AI portraits, etc.) to older devices, while One UI 7.0 will be Samsung's biggest update in years if recent rumors are correct.

One UI 7.0 is expected to change many interface elements, bring new animations, and many groundbreaking Galaxy AI features. As usual, when the One UI 7.0 Beta launches, it will only be released in a few markets for a limited number of devices. If everything goes well, the first official version of One UI 7 will be released before the end of this year.
