Samsung seems to want to release One UI 6.0 to as many devices as possible before 2023 ends.

As people around the world are celebrating the holiday season, Samsung is operating as usual. The company seems to want to release One UI 6.0 (based on Android 14) to as many devices as possible before 2023 ends. Recently, One UI 6.0 was released for the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro and now it has also landed on the Galaxy A13 5G.

Samsung was very quick to release Android 14 for low-cost phone models. Galaxy A14 5G is one of the first phone models to receive the new software. Recently, its predecessor also joined the list.

The LTE version of the Galaxy A13 seems to have not received the update yet. Based on the time it takes for the Galaxy A14 to upgrade to One UI 6.0 after the Galaxy A14 5G, Galaxy A13 owners may have to wait a few more weeks.

Galaxy A13 5G has been upgraded to Android 14 just a few weeks after Samsung officially introduced the Galaxy A15. While there is no official mention of the One UI version the Galaxy A15 is running, the device has been confirmed to run One UI 6.0 out of the box. Additionally, the Galaxy A15 is eligible to receive four operating system upgrades, double that of its predecessor.

Coming back to the Galaxy A13 5G, you can download One UI 6.0 manually by going to your device's Settings app, accessing Software Update, then selecting Download and install. The update is 1.4 GB in size. Therefore, you should use Wi-Fi or a mobile network with unlimited bandwidth to download One UI 6.0 to your device.
