This budget Samsung phone gets One UI 7.0 before expensive flagships

While users of flagships like the Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 6, or Z Fold Special Edition are still waiting for One UI 7.0, the Galaxy F06 5G, a budget smartphone under ~$110, has Samsung's latest interface pre-installed right out of the box. This is quite a surprise when a budget device is prioritized for software updates before even high-end models.

The Galaxy F06 5G has just launched in India, featuring a 6.74-inch HD+ screen, dual camera cluster with a 50MP main camera a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP selfie camera. Inside, the device is equipped with a Dimensity 6300 chip, with two RAM options of 4GB/6GB and 128GB internal memory. The 4GB + 128GB version is currently on sale for only INR 9,499.

This is also the second time Samsung has shipped a device with One UI 7.0 after the Galaxy S25 series launched last month. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S24 series, despite having had a One UI 7.0 beta since December, has yet to receive the official update. A Samsung community moderator even confirmed that there will be one more beta before the stable version is released.

This delay has many flagship users wondering when they will receive One UI 7.0, especially since the more premium models like the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Fold Special Edition have yet to receive the beta. With a long list of eligible devices, the big question is: when will One UI 7.0 reach flagships?
