Samsung users will get One UI 7 later in some countries

Samsung has announced that it will start rolling out the stable version of One UI 7.0 based on Android 15 to eligible devices from April 7, 2025. However, this timeline does not apply to all countries, and users in some regions will have to wait longer.

According to information from Samsung Malaysia, the One UI 7.0 update in the country will be released on April 14, 2025, a week later than the initial global rollout. This suggests that the update rollout will be phased and not simultaneous across the globe.

Similarly, in the United States, Samsung will also release One UI 7.0 later than in many Asian and European countries. According to a press release posted on Samsung Newsroom USA, the update will begin rolling out on April 10, 2025, three days later than the initial release.

It's likely that Samsung is prioritizing the stable rollout of One UI 7.0 in markets that have participated in the One UI 7 Beta program. This means that countries that are not part of the testing program may have to wait a bit longer.

The first phones and tablets to receive the update are expected to include the Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6. Other devices will be updated gradually. Newer, high-end devices will likely get the full range of One UI 7.0 features, while older or cheaper devices will only get certain features.
