As June draws to a close, Samsung has begun testing the July 2025 security update for various Galaxy devices. Test builds have been spotted on servers in multiple regions, suggesting that the company is gearing up for an imminent rollout.
According to @Koram_Akhilesh, Samsung is currently testing the July patch on the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy A35, and Galaxy A55. In South Korea, the Galaxy S24 and S24 FE are the first to enter the testing phase. The Galaxy A35 is being tested in India, while the Galaxy A55 has already appeared on the testing list in Europe.
Each device has its own build code, suggesting that the rollout is happening simultaneously across multiple markets. While the update's content has not been announced yet, it is expected to include the latest Android security patches released by Google in June.
Samsung usually starts releasing monthly security updates in the first or second week of the month, starting in Korea and expanding to other markets. Users can manually check in Settings > Software Update to track when their device receives the new update.
The July patch is expected to start rolling out officially in the coming days. We will continue to update the patch details when Samsung fully announces it.
