Samsung has officially released the stable One UI 7 update based on Android 15 for the Galaxy Tab S9 series in South Korea. This is the latest in a series of updates that have been happening quite rapidly in the past few days, as a series of Galaxy devices have started receiving the new software version, paving the way for a wider rollout globally.
This update for the Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9+, and Tab S9 Ultra comes with the codename CYD9, is about 4.7GB in size, and includes the April 2025 security patch. In addition to improving system stability, the patch also addresses more than 60 security vulnerabilities, including some serious ones.
In terms of features, One UI 7 brings a new, more intuitive interface, improved multitasking capabilities, upgraded taskbar, and a series of smart features powered by AI. Users will also see a smoother experience thanks to a series of performance tweaks, along with improvements in privacy and security.
Along with the Galaxy Tab S9, Samsung also released the stable One UI 7 for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy Tab S10, and Galaxy S24 FE in Korea around the same time. Other devices such as the Galaxy S24, Fold 6, Fold SE, and Flip 6 are also receiving updates in the US, Canada, and Europe.
If nothing changes, Galaxy users in other markets will soon receive One UI 7 in the coming weeks.
