After a few weeks of waiting, Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 8 Watch Beta update for some Galaxy Watch models. As promised, the update was released on the last day of June, starting in Korea and the US.

According to initial information, the One UI 8 Watch Beta will prioritize updates for the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra. Other models, such as the Galaxy Watch FE or the Galaxy Watch 5 series,s are expected to be added later. However, this testing program is currently limited to two markets, Korea and the US.

Samsung has not yet confirmed whether the Galaxy Watch 4 will be upgraded to One UI 8 Watch based on Wear OS 6. However, recent signs show that support is not high.

The One UI 8 Watch Beta update brings many notable changes to the interface and features. In addition to the Now Bar and Now Brief, users can also experience four new health features, including antioxidant index, sleep guidance, running coaching, and pulse pressure monitoring. However, some features, such as the antioxidant index and pulse pressure, will only be available on the latest watch models.

These new health features have also appeared in a recent update to the Samsung Health app on Android, suggesting that Samsung is preparing a comprehensive upgrade for the Galaxy Watch line.
