Less than two months after the stable release of One UI 7, Samsung has unexpectedly launched the One UI 8 beta. The beta program is currently deployed for the Galaxy S25 series in Germany, South Korea, the UK, and the US. Some other markets may be added soon. Samsung is expected to expand this beta program to other devices in the coming weeks.

Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra users in the four countries above can now register to participate in the One UI 8 beta test via the Samsung Members app. The new update is considered to be coming sooner than expected, opening a rapid testing cycle with the official version expected to be released in July. This will also likely be the default software version on the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Fold 7 when launched.

Notably, an official announcement from Samsung about the changes in One UI 8 Beta has appeared simultaneously on both Galaxy S25 and S24 devices in some markets. This suggests that Samsung will likely expand the beta program to more devices and regions soon.

In addition to the first four countries, India, China, and Poland could be the next names to participate in the test. It is not impossible that Samsung will deploy the One UI Beta program globally for the first time, something that the Galaxy user community has long expected.

Regarding supported devices, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 are said to be the next two names in the One UI 8 Beta update roadmap. To register, users just need to open the Samsung Members app, find the One UI 8 Beta introduction banner, and follow the instructions to participate and send feedback. We will continue to update as soon as there is official information from Samsung.
