Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 gets February 2025 update

 

Samsung has just released the first software update of 2025 for the Galaxy Tab S9 series. This update brings the February security patch, which enhances security and fixes vulnerabilities in the previous version. Users in Europe can now download and install this update.

The new update focuses on improving security, without adding new features or changing performance. The software version for the devices in the Galaxy Tab S9 series includes X716BXXS5BYA5 for the Galaxy Tab S9, X816BXXS5BYA5 for the Galaxy Tab S9+, and X916BXXS5BYA5 for the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra.

In the near future, Samsung may roll out the One UI 7.0 update based on Android 15 for these tablets. One UI 7.0 is expected to bring a redesigned interface, smoother animations, and additional intelligent AI features.

Galaxy Tab S9 users in Europe can check for and download the update by going to Settings, selecting Software update, then tapping Download and Install. Samsung is expected to expand the release of this update to other regions around the world soon.
