Samsung started rolling out the One UI 7 update outside of South Korea on April 10. And as expected, Galaxy S24 users in Europe have already started receiving the stable Android 15 update. Other markets in the region, as well as the US, are expected to follow soon. According to a leaked internal roadmap, the global rollout could begin next Monday, April 14.
Currently, One UI 7 is being pre-released to Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra users in several European countries, including those who participated in the beta program earlier and are running the stable One UI 6.1 version. The One UI 7 update comes with the April 2025 security patch. For users on the beta version, the update size is only around 465MB. However, for stable users, the OTA package can be as large as 5GB due to the entire system change.
Users in Europe and the US should check Settings > Software update > Download and install to see if the update is available. One UI 7 brings a whole new experience with a refined interface, improved one-handed operation, and many smart utilities based on artificial intelligence, improved camera quality, and overall performance. This is one of Samsung's most important updates this year.
After the Galaxy S24, Samsung will continue to expand One UI 7 to devices such as the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Flip 6, Galaxy S23, and the Galaxy Tab S10 series this month. Other eligible devices will be updated from May to June.
