Samsung Galaxy S23 Doesn't Have Audio Eraser Feature Even With One UI 7.0 Update

Samsung will officially release One UI 7.0 from April 7, with some devices getting the update first. However, the unfortunate news is that the Galaxy S23 Ultra as well as the Galaxy S23 series will not be equipped with the AI-powered Audio Eraser feature, which has appeared on newer models such as the Galaxy S24, Z Flip 6, and Z Fold 6.

With the Galaxy S25 series, Samsung introduced Audio Eraser, a powerful AI tool that removes unwanted noise in videos, from background sounds to wind noise, for professional-quality recordings. During the One UI 7 Beta testing program, this feature was extended to some older devices, but the Galaxy S23 series is not on the official support list.

This is definitely bad news for those who own the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra, especially those who regularly shoot videos and want to improve the sound quality. Samsung has not yet given an official reason for removing Audio Eraser on the Galaxy S23, but it is possible that the company will consider adding this feature in future updates.

In addition to Audio Eraser, the Galaxy S23 Ultra also does not support Samsung Log video recording, although this feature has been extended to the Galaxy S24 and S24+. Meanwhile, Galaxy S23 users will still receive interface improvements, performance optimizations, and some other AI features when updating to One UI 7.0.
