Samsung has just released a new software update for the Galaxy S20 series, following its three-month security update schedule. Although the Galaxy S20, S20+, S20 Ultra, and S20 FE are no longer eligible for OS upgrades, they will continue to receive security patches to maintain safety and stability for users.
This update brings the March 2025 security patch, which fixes 58 vulnerabilities previously discovered in the software. This is a regular security update that does not add any new features or major changes to the interface or performance but is still important in protecting the device from potential risks.
The update is currently rolling out to the LTE-enabled Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra in some markets and is also available on the 5G variants in other regions. The Galaxy S20 FE has not been updated yet but is expected to receive the same patch in the coming days.
To check and update the software, users can go to Settings > Software update > Download and install to check if their device is ready for the upgrade.
