Samsung's One UI 7.0 update not only improves the performance and interface of Galaxy phones but also upgrades the entire device ecosystem, especially the Galaxy Buds 3. With this update, users will have more flexible audio control, optimized sound quality, and enjoy a personalized music listening experience. Samsung recently revealed details about these upgrades.
Instead of having to spend time searching through the settings menu, One UI 7.0 allows users to adjust the volume, noise cancellation mode, and audio options right from the phone's quick settings panel. Just open the Quick Panel, press and hold the volume slider, and select the desired setting.
One of the most notable features of this update is the ability to remember audio settings by app. When using Galaxy Buds 3 or Buds 3 Pro, the system will automatically apply the sound profile you set for each specific app, making the experience of listening to music or watching movies more seamless.
One UI 7.0 also adds Adapt Sound, an audio personalization tool that optimizes the listening experience based on each user's hearing sensitivity. Users can choose from pre-made profiles by age group or take an advanced hearing test to create a custom sound profile. This feature can be accessed via the Galaxy Wearable app.
Galaxy AI also plays an important role in enhancing the experience with Galaxy Buds 3. Galaxy AI-powered Interpreter mode allows users to hear real-time conversation translation through the earbuds without looking at the phone. This feature supports up to 20 languages, making communication easier in multilingual environments.
Another improvement is Adaptive Noise Control, which automatically adjusts the noise cancellation level based on the surrounding environment. The system can recognize car horns, alarms, or voices, ensuring that users do not miss important sounds while maintaining an optimal music-listening experience.
These improvements make the Galaxy Buds 3 one of the smartest and most convenient wireless earbuds today. However, Samsung has not yet widely rolled out One UI 7.0 to older Galaxy devices. While the Galaxy S25 series already has this version installed, many older devices are still waiting for the update. Hopefully, Samsung will expand access soon so that all users can enjoy these upgrades.
