Samsung has just officially launched three new mid-range and low-cost smartphones in the Galaxy A series, including the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A26. All three devices come pre-installed with One UI 7.0 right from the factory, bringing a fresh software experience with many valuable improvements.
While users of old Galaxy devices are still waiting for the One UI 7.0 update, the Galaxy A56, A36, and A26 trio have joined the list of the first Samsung devices to run the latest version of Android. They also join the Galaxy S25 series and some low-cost models such as the Galaxy A06 5G and Galaxy F06 5G in the list of devices pre-installed with One UI 7.0.
The Galaxy A56, A36, and A26 all come with One UI 7.0 upgrades, including a Now Bar for faster operations, a customizable quick panel, an improved camera interface, and a vertical app drawer. The Galaxy A56 and A36 also support the Circle to Search feature developed by Google, making it easy for users to search by circling any content on the screen. Both devices also integrate smart AI tools like Object Eraser, which helps remove objects in photos, but it's unclear whether they work the same way as on flagships.
Samsung is committed to supporting the Galaxy A trio with six major Android OS updates, extending the usage time to six years. The enterprise version of the Galaxy A56 will be upgraded for seven years, providing peace of mind for business users. In addition, these devices will also support seamless updates, helping to install software updates without interrupting the user experience.
With valuable software upgrades, the Galaxy A56, A36, and A26 trio not only provide a smooth experience but also ensure long-term support from Samsung. This will be an attractive choice for those who want to own a mid-range or low-cost phone but are still equipped with modern technology.
