Samsung Galaxy A55 may soon join One UI 7.0 Beta testing program

March has begun, but Samsung has yet to make any official announcement regarding the stable One UI 7.0 release roadmap. Some recent rumors suggested that Samsung Romania had revealed its update plans, but the company was quick to deny them. Meanwhile, flagships like the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, and the S23 series are said to be preparing to enter the One UI 7.0 Beta testing phase. However, it seems that Samsung is expanding the program to the mid-range segment as a forum page dedicated to the One UI 7.0 Beta on the Galaxy A55 has just appeared on Samsung India.

The appearance of this forum page has sparked speculation that the Galaxy A55 may soon join the testing program. However, the page does not reveal much information about the start date or what new features will be included in the update.

If the Galaxy A55 is indeed the next device to receive the beta, it could indicate that Samsung is adjusting its software update strategy, expanding testing to mid-range devices earlier rather than just flagships. This could mean that the stable update to One UI 7.0 could be released sooner than previous versions.

However, there is no official confirmation from Samsung at this time, and Galaxy A55 users will have to wait. Whether or not the device will actually receive the beta is still a big question mark. If you don't want to wait too long to experience One UI 7.0, perhaps upgrading to one of Samsung's latest devices - which already have this version of the interface installed right out of the box - will be a good option to consider.
