No need to wait any longer, Galaxy users in the US can now experience Samsung's latest and most powerful software update, One UI 7.
After starting the rollout of One UI 7 based on Android 15 in Korea on April 7, Samsung has kept its promise by officially releasing the update in the US on April 10, the same time as Europe. Although no specific reason was given for this delay, users in the US have finally been upgraded.
In the first phase, Samsung will only deploy the stable One UI 7 to flagships launched in 2024, including the Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6. Other eligible Galaxy devices will receive the update in subsequent batches. This is a familiar strategy of Samsung when prioritizing updates for the latest high-end models first.
If youโre using one of the above devices in the US, chances are the update notification has already appeared on your device or will arrive in the next few hours. One UI 7 brings a host of improvements, such as a redesigned interface, smart widgets, powerful personalization options, and a series of AI features to better support users during use.
Samsung has rebuilt One UI 7 from the ground up to provide a more modern and seamless experience. With this update, Galaxy users can expect smooth performance, an intuitive interface, and smart tools to better support everyday operations. If you havenโt seen the update notification yet, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install to check manually.
