Samsung has officially confirmed that it will soon resume the One UI 7 update. In a statement posted on a community forum in Korea, the company said that it had completed the โ€œmaintenanceโ€ work related to the previously reported error, and reassured users that the rollout will resume in the near future. However, Samsung has not yet given a specific time.

According to a forum administrator, the suspension of the One UI 7 release is only a technical matter that serves the system maintenance work. This person said that the maintenance process has been completed, and the update will be released again soon. This information coincides with the previous revelation from leaker Ice Universe that the update will return to the Galaxy S24 series as early as April 15.

Based on what is happening, it is likely that Samsung will soon restore the One UI 7 update in Korea, Europe, the US, and Canada, possibly even in the next few hours. The update could also start rolling out to other regions in the near future. Before the pause, Samsung released One UI 7 for the Galaxy S24, Z Flip 6, Z Fold 6, and Fold SE.

As for other models, Samsung is expected to restart the update rollout next week, starting with the Galaxy S23 series, followed by foldable phones launching in 2023. The company is also planning to update dozens of other mid-range and low-cost devices, with the goal of completing the global rollout by July. So, depending on which model you have, it could take a few weeks or months to get the update.

One UI 7 brings a refreshed interface with more modern icons, smoother animations, and a redesigned Quick Settings panel. Samsung also upgraded the ability to personalize the lock screen and integrated many Galaxy AI features to support work, such as improved text writing and smart suggestions.
