Samsung continues to upgrade the user experience with One UI 8.0 based on Android 16, including important improvements to the Clock app. The alarm grouping feature has now become more flexible and convenient thanks to two newly added options.

Previously, when users wanted to add an alarm to a group in One UI 7.0, they could only create a completely new alarm. With One UI 8, users can now choose between creating a new alarm or adding an existing alarm to a group. This makes managing alarms faster and more efficient, especially in situations where multiple alarms need to be turned on/off on different schedules.

Not only that, Samsung also added the ability to create widgets for the entire alarm group right on the home screen. Users can turn on or off all alarms in the group with just one tap, instead of operating each alarm individually as before. This is especially useful for those who have the habit of using multiple alarms at the same time.

One UI 8 is now available as a beta for Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra devices starting May 28. Users interested in getting an early taste can sign up for the beta program, but are advised to back up their data before updating to be safe.
