After rolling out the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 7 update for the two 2024 foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, in Europe. The update is not only available to beta users, but is also available to all devices. In the US, users will also receive the update soon.

The One UI 7 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 has firmware version F956BXXU2BYCK, while the Galaxy Z Flip 6 has firmware version F741BXXU2BYCJ. Both are large updates weighing more than 5GB and come with the April security patch. Previously, the Galaxy S24 series also received a similar update, with a lighter size if the device is running the beta version.

Samsung started rolling out the stable version of One UI 7 on April 7, first in South Korea for the Galaxy S24, Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, and Fold SE. The company promised to expand to Europe and the US on April 10, and now it has delivered. The Fold SE is still limited to South Korea and China, so it is not included in this European update.

In the US, Galaxy S24, Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6 users will soon receive the One UI 7 update in the next few days. Samsung plans to roll out the update globally, starting April 14. If you have one of these devices, you can check manually by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Due to the large size, we recommend using unlimited Wi-Fi to avoid incurring data charges.

Samsung also confirmed that the Galaxy S23 and some other devices will receive One UI 7 as early as April. However, the entire update process for eligible devices will take until June. So depending on the model you're using, you may have to wait a few more days or weeks to experience One UI 7.
