OFFICIAL: Samsung confirms One UI 7.0 will start rolling out on April 7

After releasing One UI 7 Beta 5 for the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung continues to bring surprising news: the company has confirmed the official release date of One UI 7.0 stable. For Galaxy S24 users, this is almost unbelievably good news, because they have been waiting for this update for quite a long time. According to the latest announcement, One UI 7.0 will start rolling out on April 7, 2025, starting with the Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6.

This roadmap is quite similar to the information leaked earlier, but fortunately, the actual release date has been pushed up earlier than expected. Samsung also confirmed that after updating the first three devices, One UI 7.0 will continue to expand to the Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Tab S10 series, and Galaxy Tab S9 series in the following weeks.

It is worth noting that the Galaxy S22 series is not included in the early update list. This could mean that the S22 models will have to wait until May to experience this update.

What to know about the stable One UI 7.0

Along with the announcement of the release date, Samsung also revealed some interesting details about One UI 7.0. Notably, the Audio Eraser feature - a powerful noise-canceling tool in videos - will only be available on the Galaxy S24 series, S24 FE, Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, and Tab S10 series. This means that the Galaxy S23 series will not receive this feature, which many users will likely find disappointing.

Additionally, Now Brief – the smart information summary feature – seems to be exclusive to the Galaxy S25 series. Samsung has explained that older devices do not have a powerful enough NPU to support the feature, but there are still many who suspect that this could just be a strategy to boost Galaxy S25 sales.

When will other markets get the update?

As usual, Samsung will roll out One UI 7.0 on a region-by-region basis, and the update timing may vary depending on the market. While a detailed schedule has not been announced, the confirmation that the update will begin in less than three weeks is sure to get Galaxy users excited.
