Samsung is reportedly preparing to bring the professional video recording mode LOG mode to the front camera of the Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra and S25 Edge models. This is a feature commonly found on professional cameras, allowing video recording in a flat, low-contrast format to retain maximum detail in bright and dark areas, suitable for post-production.
Currently, LOG mode is mainly available on the rear camera cluster. But according to the account @DevOfIpos, Samsung is testing the integration of this feature on the front camera, which will significantly improve the ability to record vlogs and professional selfie content.
The source said that the upcoming June update will likely be the official launch time of LOG mode for the front camera of the Galaxy S25 series. This could also be the first software update for the Galaxy S25 Edge, the device that has just been released and is expected to reach users at the end of this month.
This information also coincides with previous predictions that the June update will bring many notable changes in features and performance for new Galaxy devices.
In addition, at the Android Show event, Google confirmed that Android 16 will be released in the summer. Although it did not specifically mention Samsung or One UI 8.0, many sources believe that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 could be the first devices to run this new operating system.
