While the One UI 7 (Android 15) rollout is still far from complete, Samsung has already started working on One UI 8. This will be the first major update that wonโ€™t come with an intermediate version (like 7.1 or 7.1.1), marking a direct transition from One UI 7 to One UI 8.

One UI 8 Release Date and New Features

One UI 8 is said to be an update that is more about refinement and optimization than a breakthrough. Based on the actual experience from the test version on the Galaxy Z Flip 6, the interface has not changed much compared to One UI 7, and most of the improvements are in performance, smoothness, and system refinement.

Samsung may start rolling out One UI 8 from late July or early August, coinciding with the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, two devices that will come pre-installed with One UI 8 when they go on sale. This means that One UI 8 may come to eligible devices sooner than any previous One UI version.
