After months of waiting, Samsung has finally expanded the One UI 7.0 Beta program, giving you the chance to experience the latest interface early on more devices beyond the Galaxy S24 series.
According to the official announcement, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be the first devices to join the beta program expansion, starting on March 6, 2025. In the following weeks, Samsung will continue to roll out the test version on the Galaxy S23, Galaxy A55, and Galaxy Tab S10 series.
How to sign up for the One UI 7 beta program
Users in eligible countries such as India, the UK, South Korea, and the US can sign up for the program via the Samsung Members app.
To sign up, simply open the Samsung Members app on your phone or tablet, look for the One UI 7 Beta Program banner, and then tap the Enroll button to join. If this option does not appear, please check back later as the registration process may be rolled out in batches.
After successful registration, you can go to Settings > Software update > Download and install to install the One UI 7 Beta on your device.
Important notes before updating
Before installing the One UI 7 Beta, users are advised to back up all personal data to avoid losing important information in case of system errors. You can perform a backup via Samsung Cloud, or create a backup to an external drive by going to Settings > General management > Reset > Temporary cloud backup.
As a test version, the One UI 7 Beta may not be really stable and there is a risk of errors. Therefore, if you do not want to risk performance and experience, you may consider waiting until Samsung releases the stable update expected in April 2025.
