The One UI 7 update wave is spreading across the Galaxy ecosystem in a short time. Samsung has recently officially released a stable update based on Android 15 for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 in many global markets. After the update appeared in Korea, the US, Canada, and Europe, users in other regions such as Asia and Africa are also starting to receive update notifications.
Previously, the One UI 7 update was deployed to devices such as the Galaxy S24, S24 FE, Galaxy S23, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, Tab S10, and Tab S9 in Korea. Samsung also released a hotfix to fix bugs that arose during the first update. This patch has now been integrated into the One UI 7 update that is being widely released.
In India, Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 beta users have already started receiving the update with the BYD9 firmware version, which is the same as the Galaxy S24 series. Users who are not yet in the beta will also receive the same update in the coming days. In addition to interface improvements and Galaxy AI features, the update also comes with the April 2025 security patch.
Samsung is now planning to expand the One UI 7 rollout to a range of other devices in the coming weeks. Depending on the model and region, the update may take different amounts of time to receive, but it is clear that the company is accelerating significantly to complete the roadmap by July.
