Samsung continues to expand the rollout of its latest security update for Galaxy devices. After the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy S24 series received the March 2025 security patch, it is now the turn of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 to receive the update.
The update is currently rolling out in South Korea with firmware version F731NKSS5DYBE, weighing in at 415.54MB. The patch includes important security improvements that fix multiple vulnerabilities discovered by Google, Samsung, and security researchers over the past few years.
Galaxy Z Flip 5 users in South Korea can check for and download the new update by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Samsung will expand the update to other markets globally in the near future.
In addition, the company is expected to release the One UI 7.0 update for flagship models by the end of next month. Most likely, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will also be on the list of devices that will receive this new operating system version early. In the meantime, Samsung continues to focus on improving the security of existing devices, ensuring a more stable and secure experience for users.
