The Galaxy S25 Ultra is currently considered the best Android phone on the market. In addition to its powerful configuration and attractive offers, this device also possesses impressive durability with Gorilla Armor 2 glass on the front, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the back, and a frame made of grade 5 titanium. Recently, a Ukrainian soldier said that the Galaxy S25 Ultra saved his life during an artillery attack.

The story was shared through a product review on the Samsung Ukraine website and was discovered by the Mezha news site. Accordingly, during an artillery attack, a large piece of metal flew into the phone in the soldier's pocket. The shrapnel penetrated the screen but was stopped at the titanium frame, unable to penetrate deeper into his body.

The accompanying image shows severe damage to the upper left corner of the phone, where the processor and motherboard are located. However, it was the titanium frame that absorbed the impact and effectively stopped the bullet fragments. The soldier said he had only bought the phone for three weeks but felt extremely lucky to have it with him at the right time.

Samsung Ukraine later responded, thanking the soldier for his service and saying that it had received the device at the warranty center. The company also pledged to repair it free of charge as a thank you for the trust placed in the Samsung brand.

This is not the first time a Samsung phone has saved a user's life. In 2022, a Galaxy S20 Ultra also stopped a bullet in similar circumstances in Ukraine. Although not designed as body armor, these devices sometimes do the impossible.
