Good news for Galaxy S24 users in the US: Samsung has officially released the stable One UI 7 update for all three versions in this product line. This is a major update based on Android 15, bringing a series of upgrades to the interface, performance, and user experience. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 will also join the "update party" in the near future.
Samsung started the One UI 7 release process on April 7 in Korea. Then, users in Europe started receiving the update on April 10. And now, Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra users in the US can download the One UI 7 update with firmware code ending in BYCG, along with the April security patch.
Based on Android 15, One UI 7 brings a more modern interface, more personalization, and a series of new features that apply artificial intelligence. Users will experience dynamic widgets, a more flexible Now Bar navigation bar, and smoother multitasking. Improvements in performance and smart interactions also contribute to improving the overall experience on Galaxy devices.
Samsung has now released the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 in Korea and Europe. Users in the US will soon receive the same update in the next few days. The global rollout is scheduled to begin on April 14, but the specific time may vary depending on the market and model.
Samsung also confirmed that the One UI 7 update will last until June, with mid-range and budget devices being the last to receive the update. To check for updates, users can go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. If you haven't seen the update yet, try again later.
