Samsung has released the second One UI 7 beta update for the Galaxy A55 in India, just a week after the first beta was released. Based on Android 15, the new build, which has the model number A556EXXU7ZYD3 and weighs around 336MB, focuses on improving performance and fixing existing bugs.
According to the official update notes from Samsung, this beta version fixes the blurry display issue when viewing sports content from Google via the Now Bar, fixes the inability to attach emojis in MMS messages in certain cases, and fixes the incorrect SIM icon in eSIM notifications. In addition, the update also comes with the April 2025 security patch and brings significant system stability improvements.
Beta 2 is now rolling out to Galaxy A55 users participating in the One UI 7 beta program in India. However, while the A55 series continues to be expanded for testing, the stable One UI 7 update process for flagship devices is temporarily interrupted.
If there are no further obstacles, the Galaxy A55 is expected to receive the stable One UI 7 update in May. Some other devices may have to wait until June or July. Users should follow more information to not missing the next update batch.
