After the Galaxy A52 5G was removed from the list of supported devices last month, the Galaxy A52 4G version has also officially stopped receiving updates. Samsung confirmed that it has ended software support for this device, closing the journey of more than four years since its launch in March 2021.

The Galaxy A52 has received three major operating system updates along with four years of regular security patches. Now, the device will no longer receive software updates, except in emergency cases if a serious vulnerability arises.

This is sad news for those who are still using the Galaxy A52. There is no denying that this is one of the most popular A-series phones ever thanks to its beautiful design, smooth 90Hz Super AMOLED screen and stable performance in the segment.

Currently, the Galaxy A52s is still supported by Samsung for the near future. However, this device will also reach the end of its support life around September or October this year.

If you are using a Galaxy A52 and want to upgrade, options like the Galaxy A56 are more suitable. Although it no longer has a headphone jack and a memory card slot, the A56 excels in terms of performance, build quality, and long-term software support.
