The Galaxy A33 has just been updated to One UI 7, marking the third major Android upgrade since the device's launch. The update brings a host of new features and a more modern user interface design.
While many other low-end Samsung smartphones have received One UI 7 early, the Galaxy A33 was surprisingly absent alongside the Galaxy A53, causing many users to wonder about the reason for the delay. However, the Galaxy A33 has now officially been updated to One UI 7.0.
Galaxy A33 users in Latin America, starting with Bolivia, can now download the Android 15 update with One UI 7.0. The update has the software code A336MUBUDFYE3, is about 3.5GB in size, and comes with the May 2025 security patch.
If you are using a Galaxy A33 in this region, you can check for the update by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. After the download is complete, tap Install now to upgrade. The device will reboot and be ready with the One UI 7 interface after a few minutes of installation.
This update brings a completely new interface design, smoother and more vivid motion effects, redesigned application icons, a more flexible quick settings panel, many new widgets with deeper personalization, a Now Bar, a new battery icon and charging animation, improved system applications, and added battery health protection features.
The Galaxy A33 was introduced in 2022 with theΒ Android 12 operating system. It received Android 13 in late 2022 and Android 14 in late 2023. With this Android 15 update, the Galaxy A33 still has one more major upgrade before the end of its software support lifecycle.
