Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 7.0 update for the Galaxy A24, marking the second Android OS upgrade for the mid-range smartphone. The new update is currently rolling out in South Korea and may soon be expanded to other markets in the near future.

Based on Android 15, One UI 7.0 brings a refreshed interface, many new features, and a smoother experience for Galaxy A24 users. This update comes with the software code A245NKSU6DYE6 and is about 3GB in size. Samsung also integrates the May 2025 security patch to improve device safety, but unfortunately, it is not the latest June patch.

Galaxy A24 users in South Korea can check and install the new update by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once the download is complete, simply tap โ€œInstall Nowโ€ and wait for the device to reboot to complete the update process.

The Galaxy A24 was launched in 2023 with Android 13 and One UI 5.1 pre-installed. Samsung has committed to providing four major OS updates for this model. After Android 14 in late 2023, the device has now moved to Android 15. It is expected that in the near future, the Galaxy A24 will continue to be upgraded to Android 16 and Android 17, corresponding to One UI 8.0 and One UI 9.0, respectively.
